أَعُوْذُ بِاللَّهِ السَّمِيْعِ الْعَلِيْمِ مِنَ الشَّيْطَانِ الرَّجِيْمِ
ٱللَّهُ لَآ إِلَـٰهَ إِلَّا هُوَ ٱلْحَىُّ ٱلْقَيُّومُ ۚ لَا تَأْخُذُهُۥ سِنَةٌۭ وَلَا نَوْمٌۭ ۚ لَّهُۥ مَا فِى ٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِ وَمَا فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ ۗ مَن ذَا ٱلَّذِى يَشْفَعُ عِندَهُۥٓ إِلَّا بِإِذْنِهِۦ ۚ يَعْلَمُ مَا بَيْنَ أَيْدِيهِمْ وَمَا خَلْفَهُمْ ۖ وَلَا يُحِيطُونَ بِشَىْءٍۢ مِّنْ عِلْمِهِۦٓ إِلَّا بِمَا شَآءَ ۚ وَسِعَ كُرْسِيُّهُ ٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضَ ۖ وَلَا يَـُٔودُهُۥ حِفْظُهُمَا ۚ وَهُوَ ٱلْعَلِىُّ ٱلْعَظِيمُ
I seek refuge in Allah, from Satan, the accursed.
Allah! There is no God ˹worthy of worship˺ except Him, the Ever-Living, All-Sustaining. Neither drowsiness nor sleep overtakes Him. To Him belongs whatever is in the heavens and whatever is on the earth. Who could possibly intercede with Him without His permission? He ˹fully˺ knows what is ahead of them and what is behind them, but no one can grasp any of His knowledge—except what He wills ˹to reveal˺. His Throne encompasses the heavens and the earth, and the preservation of both does not tire Him. For He is the Most High, the Greatest.
بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِيْمِ
قُلْ هُوَ اللَّهُ أَحَدٌ اللَّهُ الصَّمَدُ لَمْ يَلِدْ وَلَمْ يُوْلَدْ وَلَمْ يَكُنْ لَهُ كُفُوًا أَحَدٌ
In the name of Allah, The Most Gracious, The Most Merciful.
Say, ˹O Prophet,˺ "He is Allah—One ˹and Indivisible˺. Allah—the Sustainer ˹needed by all˺. He has never had offspring, nor was He born. And there is none comparable to Him."
بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِيْمِ
قُلْ أَعُوْذُ بِرَبِّ الْفَلَقِ مِنْ شَرِّ مَا خَلَقَ وَمِنْ شَرِّ غَاسِقٍ إِذَا وَقَبَ وَمِنْ شَرِّ النَّفَّاثَاتِ فِي الْعُقَدِ وَمِنْ شَرِّ حَاسِدٍ إِذَا حَسَدَ
In the name of Allah, The Most Gracious, The Most Merciful.
Say, ˹O Prophet,˺ "I seek refuge in the Lord of the daybreak, from the evil of whatever He has created, and from the evil of the night when it grows dark, and from the evil of those ˹witches casting spells by˺ blowing onto knots, and from the evil of an envier when they envy."
بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِيْمِ
قُلْ أَعُوْذُ بِرَبِّ النَّاسِ مَلِكِ النَّاسِ إِلٰهِ النَّاسِ مِنْ شَرِّ الْوَسْوَاسِ الْخَنَّاسِ الَّذِيْ يُوَسْوِسُ فِيْ صُدُوْرِ النَّاسِ مِنَ الْجِنَّةِ وَالنَّاسِ
In the name of Allah, The Most Gracious, The Most Merciful.
Say, ˹O Prophet,˺ "I seek refuge in the Lord of humankind, the Master of humankind, the God of humankind, from the evil of the lurking whisperer—who whispers into the hearts of humankind—from among jinn and humankind."
أَصْبَحْنَا وَأَصْبَحَ الْمُلْكُ لِلَّهِ وَالْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ ، لَا إِلٰهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ وَحْدَهُ لَا شَرِيْكَ لَهُ ، لَهُ الْمُلْكُ وَلَهُ الْحَمْدُ ، وَهُوَ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيْرٌ ، رَبِّ أَسْأَلُكَ خَيْرَ مَا فِيْ هٰذَا الْيَوْمِ وَخَيْرَ مَا بَعْدَهُ ، وَأَعُوْذُ بِكَ مِنْ شَرِّ مَا فِيْ هٰذَا الْيَوْمِ وَشَرِّ مَا بَعْدَهُ ، رَبِّ أَعُوْذُ بِكَ مِنَ الْكَسَلِ وَسُوْءِ الْكِبَرِ ، رَبِّ أَعُوْذُ بِكَ مِنْ عَذَابٍ فِي النَّارِ وَعَذَابٍ فِي الْقَبْرِ
We have entered the morning and at this very time the whole kingdom belongs to Allah. All praise is due to Allah. There is no god worthy of worship except Allah, the One; He has no partner with Him. The entire kingdom belongs solely to Him, to Him is all praise due, and He is All-Powerful over everything. My Lord, I ask You for the good that is in this day and the good that follows it, and I seek Your protection from the evil that is in this day and from the evil that follows it. My Lord, I seek Your protection from laziness and the misery of old age. My Lord, I seek Your protection from the torment of the Hell-fire and the punishment of the grave.
اللَّهُمَّ بِكَ أَصْبَحْنَا، وَبِكَ أَمْسَيْنَا، وَبِكَ نَحْيَا، وَبِكَ نَمُوْتُ، وَإِلَيْكَ النُّشُوْرُ
O Allah, by You we have entered the morning and by You we enter upon the evening. By You, we live and we die, and unto You is our resurrection.
اللَّهُمَّ أَنْتَ رَبِّيْ لَا إِلٰهَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ ، خَلَقْتَنِيْ وَأَنَا عَبْدُكَ ، وَأَنَا عَلَى عَهْدِكَ وَوَعْدِكَ مَا اسْتَطَعْتُ ، أَعُوْذُ بِكَ مِنْ شَرِّ مَا صَنَعْتُ ، أَبُوْءُ لَكَ بِنِعْمَتِكَ عَلَيَّ وَأَبُوْءُ بِذَنْبِيْ ، فَاغْفِرْ لِيْ فَإِنَّهُ لَا يَغْفِرُ الذُّنُوْبَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ
O Allah, You are my Lord, none has the right to be worshipped except You, You created me and I am Your servant and I abide by Your covenant and promise as best I can, I take refuge in You from the evil of which I have committed. I acknowledge Your favour upon me and I acknowledge my sin, so forgive me, for verily none can forgive sin except You.
اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّيْ أَصْبَحْتُ أُشْهِدُكَ، وَأُشْهِدُ حَمَلَةَ عَرْشِكَ، وَمَلَائِكَتَكَ، وَجَمِيْعَ خَلْقِكَ، أَنَّكَ أَنْتَ اللَّهُ لَا إِلٰهَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ وَحْدَكَ لَا شَرِيْكَ لَكَ، وَأَنَّ مُحَمَّدًا عَبْدُكَ وَرَسُوْلُكَ
O Allah, verily I have reached the morning and call on You, the bearers of Your throne, Your angles, and all of Your creation to witness that You are Allah, none has the right to be worshipped except You, alone, without partner and that Muhammad is Your Servant and Messenger.
اللَّهُمَّ مَا أَصْبَحَ بِيْ مِنْ نِعْمَةٍ، أَوْ بِأَحَدٍ مِنْ خَلْقِكَ، فَمِنْكَ وَحْدَكَ لَا شَرِيْكَ لَكَ، فَلَكَ الْحَمْدُ وَلَكَ الشُّكْرُ
O Allah, what blessing I or any of Your creation have risen upon, is from You alone, without partner, so for You is all praise, and unto You all thanks.
اللَّهُمَّ عَافِنِيْ فِيْ بَدَنِيْ، اللَّهُمَّ عَافِنِيْ فِيْ سَمْعِيْ، اللَّهُمَّ عَافِنِيْ فِيْ بَصَرِيْ، لَا إِلٰهَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ، اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّيْ أَعُوْذُ بِكَ مِنَ الْكُفْرِ، وَالْفَقْرِ، وَأَعُوْذُ بِكَ مِنْ عَذَابِ الْقَبْرِ، لَا إِلٰهَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ
O Allah, grant my body health, O Allah, grant health in my hearing, O Allah, grant health in my sight. None has the right to be worshipped except You. Oh Allah, I take refuge with You from disbelief and poverty, and I take refuge with You from the punishment of the grave. None has the right to be worshipped except You.
اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّيْ أَعُوْذُ بِكَ مِنَ الْهَمِّ وَالْحَزَنِ، وَأَعُوْذُ بِكَ مِنَ الْعَجْزِ وَالْكَسَلِ، وَأَعُوْذُ بِكَ مِنَ الْجُبْنِ وَالْبُخْلِ، وَأَعُوْذُ بِكَ مِنْ غَلَبَةِ الدَّيْنِ وَقَهْرِ الرِّجَالِ
O Allah! I seek refuge with You from worry and grief, from incapacity and laziness, from cowardice and miserliness, from being heavily in debt and from being overpowered by (other) men."
حَسْبِيَ اللَّهُ لَا إِلٰهَ إِلَّا هُوَ عَلَيْهِ تَوَكَّلْتُ وَهُوَ رَبُّ الْعَرْشِ الْعَظِيْمِ
Allah is Sufficient for me, none has the right to be worshipped except Him, upon Him I rely and He is Lord of the exalted throne.
اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّيْ أَسْأَلُكَ الْعَفْوَ وَالْعَافِيَةَ فِي الدُّنْيَا وَالْآخِرَةِ، اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّيْ أَسْأَلُكَ الْعَفْوَ وَالْعَافِيَةَ فِيْ دِيْنِيْ، وَدُنْيَايَ، وَأَهْلِيْ، وَمَالِيْ، اللَّهُمَّ اسْتُرْ عَوْرَاتِيْ، وَآمِنْ رَوْعَاتِيْ، اللَّهُمَّ احْفَظْنِيْ مِنْ بَيْنِ يَدَيَّ، وَمِنْ خَلْفِيْ، وَعَنْ يَمِيْنِيْ، وَعَنْ شِمَالِيْ، وَمِنْ فَوْقِيْ، وَأَعُوْذُ بِعَظَمَتِكَ أَنْ أُغْتَالَ مِنْ تَحْتِيْ
O Allah, I ask You for pardon and well-being in this life and the next. O Allah, I ask You for pardon and for well-being in my religious and worldly affairs, and (and for well-being in) my family and my wealth. O Allah, veil my weaknesses and set at ease my dismay. O Allah, guard me from the front and from behind and from my right and from my left and from above, and I seek protection in Your Greatness from being unexpectedly destroyed from beneath me.
اللَّهُمَّ عَالِمَ الْغَيْبِ وَالشَّهَادَةِ فَاطِرَ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ، رَبَّ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ وَمَلِيْكَهُ، أَشْهَدُ أَنْ لَا إِلٰهَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ، أَعُوْذُ بِكَ مِنْ شَرِّ نَفْسِيْ، وَمِنْ شَرِّ الشَّيْطَانِ وَشِرْكِهِ، وَأَنْ أَقْتَرِفَ عَلَى نَفْسِيْ سُوْءًا أَوْ أَجُرَّهُ إِلَى مُسْلِمٍ
O Allah, Knower of the unseen and the seen, Creator of the heavens and the earth, the Lord and Sovereign of everything; I bear witness that there is no god worthy of worship but You. I seek Your protection from the evil of my own self, from the evil of Shayṭān and from the evil of polytheism to which he calls,and from inflicting evil on myself, or bringing it upon a Muslim.
بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الَّذِيْ لَا يَضُرُّ مَعَ اسْمِهِ شَيْءٌ فِي الْأَرْضِ وَلَا فِي السَّمَاءِ وَهُوَ السَّمِيْعُ الْعَلِيْمُ
In the name of Allah with whose name nothing is harmed on earth nor in the heavens and He is The All-Seeing, The All-Knowing.
رَضِيْتُ بِاللَّهِ رَبًّا، وَبِالْإِسْلَامِ دِيْنًا، وَبِمُحَمَّدٍ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ نَبِيًّا
I am pleased with Allah as a Lord, Islam as a religion, and Muhammad ﷺ as a Prophet.
يَا حَيُّ يَا قَيُّوْمُ بِرَحْمَتِكَ أَسْتَغِيْثُ، أَصْلِحْ لِيْ شَأْنِيْ كُلَّهُ، وَلَا تَكِلْنِيْ إِلَى نَفْسِيْ طَرْفَةَ عَيْنٍ
Oh The Ever Living, The Sustainer of all. ; I seek assistance through Your mercy. Rectify all of my affairs and do not entrust me to myself for even the blink of an eye.
أَصْبَحْنَا وَأَصْبَحَ الْمُلْكُ لِلَّهِ رَبِّ الْعَالَمِيْنَ ، اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّيْ أَسْأَلُكَ خَيْرَ هٰذَا الْيَوْمِ ، فَتْحَهُ وَنَصْرَهُ وَنُوْرَهُ وَبَرَكَتَهُ وَهُدَاهُ ، وَأَعُوْذُ بِكَ مِنْ شَرِّ مَا فِيْهِ وَشَرِّ مَا بَعْدَهُ
We have entered the morning and at this very time the whole kingdom belongs to Allah, Lord of the Worlds. Oh Allah, I ask You for the goodness of this day: its victory, its help, its light, and its blessings and guidance. I seek Your protection from the evil that is in it and from the evil that follows it.
أَصْبَحْنَا عَلَى فِطْرَةِ الْإِسْلَامِ، وَعَلَى كَلِمَةِ الْإِخْلَاصِ، وَعَلَى دِيْنِ نَبِيِّنَا مُحَمَّدٍ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، وَعَلَى مِلَّةِ أَبِيْنَا إِبْرَاهِيْمَ، حَنِيْفًا مُسْلِمًا وَمَا كَانَ مِنَ الْمُشْرِكِيْنَ
We have entered the morning upon the natural disposition of of Islam, the statement of pure faith (i.e. Shahādah), the religion of our Prophet Muhammad ﷺ and upon the path of our father Ibrahim, who turned away from all that is false, having surrendered to Allah (as a Muslim), and he was not of the polytheists.
لَا إِلٰهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ، وَحْدَهُ لَا شَرِيْكَ لَهُ، لَهُ الْمُلْكُ وَلَهُ الْحَمْدُ، وَهُوَ عَلَى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيْرٌ
There is no god worthy of worship except Allah. He is Alone and He has no partner whatsoever. To Him Alone belong all sovereignty and all praise. He is over all things All-Powerful.
سُبْحَانَ اللَّهِ وَبِحَمْدِهِ
Allah is free from imperfection, and all praise is due to Him.
سُبْحَانَ اللَّهِ وَبِحَمْدِهِ، عَدَدَ خَلْقِهِ وَرِضَا نَفْسِهِ وَزِنَةَ عَرْشِهِ وَمِدَادَ كَلِمَاتِهِ
Allah is free from imperfection and all praise is due to Him, (in ways) as numerous as all He has created, (as vast) as His pleasure, (as limitless) as the weight of His Throne, and (as endless) as the ink of His words.
اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّيْ أَسْأَلُكَ عِلْمًا نَافِعًا، وَرِزْقًا طَيِّبًا، وَعَمَلًا مُتَقَبَّلًا
Oh Allah, I ask You for beneficial knowledge, pure provision, and deeds that are accepted
أَسْتَغْفِرُ اللَّهَ وَأَتُوْبُ إِلَيْهِ
I seek Allah’s forgiveness and turn to Him in repentance.
اللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ وَسَلِّمْ عَلَى نَبِيِّنَا مُحَمَّدٍ
Oh Allah, we ask for your peace and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad.
أَعُوْذُ بِاللَّهِ السَّمِيْعِ الْعَلِيْمِ مِنَ الشَّيْطَانِ الرَّجِيْمِ

I seek refuge in God from Satan the accursed.

أَمْسَيْنَا وَأَمْسَى الْمُلْكُ لِلَّهِ، وَالْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ لَا إِلٰهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ، وَحْدَهُ لَا شَرِيْكَ لَهُ، لَهُ الْمُلْكُ وَلَهُ الْحَمْدُ وَهُوَ عَلَى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيْرٌ، رَبِّ أَسْأَلُكَ خَيْرَ مَا فِيْ هَذِهِ اللَّيْلَةِ وَخَيْرَ مَا بَعْدَهَا، وَأَعُوْذُ بِكَ مِنْ شَرِّ مَا فِيْ هَذِهِ اللَّيْلَةِ وَشَرِّ مَا بَعْدَهَا، رَبِّ أَعُوْذُ بِكَ مِنَ الْكَسَلِ وَسُوْءِ الْكِبَرِ، رَبِّ أَعُوْذُ بِكَ مِنْ عَذَابٍ فِي النَّارِ وَعَذَابٍ فِي الْقَبْرِ

Oh Allah, I have entered the evening, and I call upon You, the bearers of Your Throne, Your angels, and all creation, to bear witness that surely You are Allah. There is no god worthy of worship except You Alone. You have no partners, and that Muḥammad ﷺ is Your slave and Your Messenger.
اللَّهُمَّ مَا أَمْسَى بِيْ مِنْ نِعْمَةٍ، أَوْ بِأَحَدٍ مِنْ خَلْقِكَ، فَمِنْكَ وَحْدَكَ لَا شَرِيْكَ لَكَ، فَلَكَ الْحَمْدُ وَلَكَ الشُّكْرُ
O Allah, all the favours that I or anyone from Your creation has received in the evening, are from You Alone. You have no partner. To You Alone belong all praise and all thanks.
اللَّهُمَّ عَافِنِيْ فِيْ بَدَنِيْ، اللَّهُمَّ عَافِنِيْ فِيْ سَمْعِيْ، اللَّهُمَّ عَافِنِيْ فِيْ بَصَرِيْ، لَا إِلٰهَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ، اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّيْ أَعُوْذُ بِكَ مِنَ الْكُفْرِ، وَالْفَقْرِ، وَأَعُوْذُ بِكَ مِنْ عَذَابِ الْقَبْرِ، لَا إِلٰهَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ
O Allah, grant my body health, O Allah, grant health in my hearing, O Allah, grant health in my sight. None has the right to be worshipped except You. Oh Allah, I take refuge with You from disbelief and poverty, and I take refuge with You from the punishment of the grave. None has the right to be worshipped except You.
اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّيْ أَعُوْذُ بِكَ مِنَ الْهَمِّ وَالْحَزَنِ، وَأَعُوْذُ بِكَ مِنَ الْعَجْزِ وَالْكَسَلِ، وَأَعُوْذُ بِكَ مِنَ الْجُبْنِ وَالْبُخْلِ، وَأَعُوْذُ بِكَ مِنْ غَلَبَةِ الدَّيْنِ وَقَهْرِ الرِّجَالِ
O Allah! I seek refuge with You from worry and grief, from incapacity and laziness, from cowardice and miserliness, from being heavily in debt and from being overpowered by (other) men."
حَسْبِيَ اللَّهُ لَا إِلٰهَ إِلَّا هُوَ عَلَيْهِ تَوَكَّلْتُ، وَهُوَ رَبُّ الْعَرْشِ الْعَظِيْمِ
Allah is Sufficient for me, none has the right to be worshipped except Him, upon Him I rely and He is Lord of the exalted throne.
اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّيْ أَسْأَلُكَ الْعَفْوَ وَالْعَافِيَةَ فِي الدُّنْيَا وَالْآخِرَةِ، اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّيْ أَسْأَلُكَ الْعَفْوَ وَالْعَافِيَةَ فِيْ دِيْنِيْ وَدُنْيَايَ وَأَهْلِيْ وَمَالِيْ، اللَّهُمَّ اسْتُرْ عَوْرَاتِيْ، وَآمِنْ رَوْعَاتِيْ، اللَّهُمَّ احْفَظْنِيْ مِنْ بَيْنِ يَدَيَّ، وَمِنْ خَلْفِيْ، وَعَنْ يَمِيْنِيْ، وَعَنْ شِمَالِيْ، وَمِنْ فَوْقِيْ، وَأَعُوْذُ بِعَظَمَتِكَ أَنْ أُغْتَالَ مِنْ تَحْتِيْ
O Allah, I ask You for pardon and well-being in this life and the next. O Allah, I ask You for pardon and for well-being in my religious and worldly affairs, and (and for well-being in) my family and my wealth. O Allah, veil my weaknesses and set at ease my dismay. O Allah, guard me from the front and from behind and from my right and from my left and from above, and I seek protection in Your Greatness from being unexpectedly destroyed from beneath me.
اللَّهُمَّ عَالِمَ الْغَيْبِ وَالشَّهَادَةِ، فَاطِرَ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ، رَبَّ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ وَمَلِيْكَهُ، أَشْهَدُ أَنْ لَا إِلٰهَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ، أَعُوْذُ بِكَ مِنْ شَرِّ نَفْسِيْ، وَمِنْ شَرِّ الشَّيْطَانِ وَشِرْكِهِ، وَأَنْ أَقْتَرِفَ عَلَى نَفْسِيْ سُوْءًا، أَوْ أَجُرَّهُ إِلَى مُسْلِمٍ
O Allah, Knower of the unseen and the seen, Creator of the heavens and the earth, the Lord and Sovereign of everything; I bear witness that there is no god worthy of worship but You. I seek Your protection from the evil of my own self, from the evil of Shayṭān and from the evil of polytheism to which he calls,and from inflicting evil on myself, or bringing it upon a Muslim.
بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الَّذِيْ لَا يَضُرُّ مَعَ اسْمِهِ شَيْءٌ فِي الْأَرْضِ وَلَا فِي السَّمَاءِ وَهُوَ السَّمِيْعُ الْعَلِيْمُ
In the name of Allah with whose name nothing is harmed on earth nor in the heavens and He is The All-Seeing, The All-Knowing.
رَضِيْتُ بِاللَّهِ رَبًّا، وَبِالْإِسْلَامِ دِيْنًا، وَبِمُحَمَّدٍ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ نَبِيًّا
I am pleased with Allah as a Lord, Islam as a religion, and Muhammad ﷺ as a Prophet.
يَا حَيُّ يَا قَيُّوْمُ بِرَحْمَتِكَ أَسْتَغِيْثُ، أَصْلِحْ لِيْ شَأْنِيْ كُلَّهُ، وَلَا تَكِلْنِيْ إِلَى نَفْسِيْ طَرْفَةَ عَيْنٍ
Oh The Ever Living, The Sustainer of all. ; I seek assistance through Your mercy. Rectify all of my affairs and do not entrust me to myself for even the blink of an eye.
أَمْسَيْنَا وَأَمْسَى الْمُلْكُ لِلَّهِ رَبِّ الْعَالَمِيْنَ، اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّيْ أَسْأَلُكَ خَيْرَ هَذِهِ اللَّيْلَةِ، فَتْحَهَا وَنَصْرَهَا وَنُوْرَهَا وَبَرَكَتَهَا وَهُدَاهَا، وَأَعُوْذُ بِكَ مِنْ شَرِّ مَا فِيْهَا وَشَرِّ مَا بَعْدَهَا
We have entered the evening and at this very time the whole kingdom belongs to Allah, Lord of the Worlds. Oh Allah, I ask You for the goodness of this night: its victory, its help, its light, and its blessings and guidance. I seek Your protection from the evil that is in it and from the evil that follows it.
أَمْسَيْنَا عَلَى فِطْرَةِ الْإِسْلَامِ، وَعَلَى كَلِمَةِ الْإِخْلَاصِ، وَعَلَى دِيْنِ نَبِيِّنَا مُحَمَّدٍ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، وَعَلَى مِلَّةِ أَبِيْنَا إِبْرَاهِيْمَ، حَنِيْفًا مُسْلِمًا وَمَا كَانَ مِنَ الْمُشْرِكِيْنَ
We have entered the evening upon the natural religion of Islam, the statement of pure faith (i.e. Shahādah), the religion of our Prophet Muhammad ﷺ and upon the way of our father Ibrāhīm, who turned away from all that is false, having surrendered to Allah, and he was not of the polytheists.
لَا إِلٰهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ، وَحْدَهُ لَا شَرِيْكَ لَهُ، لَهُ الْمُلْكُ وَلَهُ الْحَمْدُ، وَهُوَ عَلَى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيْرٌ
There is no god worthy of worship except Allah. He is Alone and He has no partner whatsoever. To Him Alone belong all sovereignty and all praise. He is over all things All-Powerful.
سُبْحَانَ اللَّهِ وَبِحَمْدِهِ
Allah is free from imperfection, and all praise is due to Him.
أَعُوْذُ بِكَلِمَاتِ اللَّهِ التَّامَّاتِ مِنْ شَرِّ مَا خَلَقَ
I seek protection in Allah’s perfect words from the evil of whatever He has created.
اللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ وَسَلِّمْ عَلَى نَبِيِّنَا مُحَمَّدٍ
Oh Allah, we ask for your peace and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad.
أَعُوْذُ بِاللّٰهِ مِنَ الشَّيْطَانِ الرَّجِيْمِ
ٱللَّهُ لَآ إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا هُوَ ٱلۡحَيُّ ٱلۡقَيُّومُۚ لَا تَأۡخُذُهُۥ سِنَةٞ وَلَا نَوۡمٞۚ لَّهُۥ مَا فِي ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَمَا فِي ٱلۡأَرۡضِۗ مَن ذَا ٱلَّذِي يَشۡفَعُ عِندَهُۥٓ إِلَّا بِإِذۡنِهِۦۚ يَعۡلَمُ مَا بَيۡنَ أَيۡدِيهِمۡ وَمَا خَلۡفَهُمۡۖ وَلَا يُحِيطُونَ بِشَيۡءٖ مِّنۡ عِلۡمِهِۦٓ إِلَّا بِمَا شَآءَۚ وَسِعَ كُرۡسِيُّهُ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلۡأَرۡضَۖ وَلَا يَـُٔودُهُۥ حِفۡظُهُمَاۚ وَهُوَ ٱلۡعَلِيُّ ٱلۡعَظِيمُ
I seek refuge in God from Satan the accursed.
Allah! There is no God ˹worthy of worship˺ except Him, the Ever-Living, All-Sustaining. Neither drowsiness nor sleep overtakes Him. To Him belongs whatever is in the heavens and whatever is on the earth. Who could possibly intercede with Him without His permission? He ˹fully˺ knows what is ahead of them and what is behind them, but no one can grasp any of His knowledge—except what He wills ˹to reveal˺. His Throne encompasses the heavens and the earth, and the preservation of both does not tire Him. For He is the Most High, the Greatest.
ءَامَنَ ٱلرَّسُولُ بِمَآ أُنزِلَ إِلَيۡهِ مِن رَّبِّهِۦ وَٱلۡمُؤۡمِنُونَۚ كُلٌّ ءَامَنَ بِٱللَّهِ وَمَلَٰٓئِكَتِهِۦ وَكُتُبِهِۦ وَرُسُلِهِۦ لَا نُفَرِّقُ بَيۡنَ أَحَدٖ مِّن رُّسُلِهِۦۚ وَقَالُواْ سَمِعۡنَا وَأَطَعۡنَاۖ غُفۡرَانَكَ رَبَّنَا وَإِلَيۡكَ ٱلۡمَصِيرُ لَا يُكَلِّفُ ٱللَّهُ نَفۡسًا إِلَّا وُسۡعَهَاۚ لَهَا مَا كَسَبَتۡ وَعَلَيۡهَا مَا ٱكۡتَسَبَتۡۗ رَبَّنَا لَا تُؤَاخِذۡنَآ إِن نَّسِينَآ أَوۡ أَخۡطَأۡنَاۚ رَبَّنَا وَلَا تَحۡمِلۡ عَلَيۡنَآ إِصۡرٗا كَمَا حَمَلۡتَهُۥ عَلَى ٱلَّذِينَ مِن قَبۡلِنَاۚ رَبَّنَا وَلَا تُحَمِّلۡنَا مَا لَا طَاقَةَ لَنَا بِهِۦۖ وَٱعۡفُ عَنَّا وَٱغۡفِرۡ لَنَا وَٱرۡحَمۡنَآۚ أَنتَ مَوۡلَىٰنَا فَٱنصُرۡنَا عَلَى ٱلۡقَوۡمِ ٱلۡكَٰفِرِينَ
In the name of Allah, The Most Gracious, The Most Merciful.
The Messenger ˹firmly˺ believes in what has been revealed to him from his Lord, and so do the believers. They ˹all˺ believe in Allah, His angels, His Books, and His messengers. ˹They proclaim,˺ “We make no distinction between any of His messengers.” And they say, “We hear and obey. ˹We seek˺ Your forgiveness, our Lord! And to You ˹alone˺ is the final return.”
بِسْمِ ٱللهِ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيْمِ
قُلۡ يَٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلۡكَٰفِرُونَ لَآ أَعۡبُدُ مَا تَعۡبُدُونَ وَلَآ أَنتُمۡ عَٰبِدُونَ مَآ أَعۡبُدُ وَلَآ أَنَا۠ عَابِدٞ مَّا عَبَدتُّمۡ وَلَآ أَنتُمۡ عَٰبِدُونَ مَآ أَعۡبُدُ لَكُمۡ دِينُكُمۡ وَلِيَ دِينِ
In the name of Allah, The Most Gracious, The Most Merciful.
Say, ˹O Prophet,˺ "O disbelievers! I do not worship what you worship, nor do you worship what I worship. I will never worship what you worship, nor will you ever worship what I worship. You have your way, and I have my Way."
بِسْمِ ٱللهِ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيْمِ
قُلۡ هُوَ ٱللَّهُ أَحَدٌ ٱللَّهُ ٱلصَّمَدُ لَمۡ يَلِدۡ وَلَمۡ يُولَدۡ وَلَمۡ يَكُن لَّهُۥ كُفُوًا أَحَدُۢ
In the name of Allah, The Most Gracious, The Most Merciful.
Say, ˹O Prophet,˺ "He is Allah—One ˹and Indivisible˺. Allah—the Sustainer ˹needed by all˺. He has never had offspring, nor was He born. And there is none comparable to Him."
بِسْمِ ٱللهِ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيْمِ
قُلۡ أَعُوذُ بِرَبِّ ٱلۡفَلَقِ مِن شَرِّ مَا خَلَقَ وَمِن شَرِّ غَاسِقٍ إِذَا وَقَبَ وَمِن شَرِّ ٱلنَّفَّٰثَٰتِ فِي ٱلۡعُقَدِ وَمِن شَرِّ حَاسِدٍ إِذَا حَسَدَ
In the name of Allah, The Most Gracious, The Most Merciful.
Say, ˹O Prophet,˺ "I seek refuge in the Lord of the daybreak, from the evil of whatever He has created, and from the evil of the night when it grows dark, and from the evil of those ˹witches casting spells by˺ blowing onto knots, and from the evil of an envier when they envy."
بِسْمِ ٱللهِ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيْمِ
قُلۡ أَعُوذُ بِرَبِّ ٱلنَّاسِ مَلِكِ ٱلنَّاسِ إِلَٰهِ ٱلنَّاسِ مِن شَرِّ ٱلۡوَسۡوَاسِ ٱلۡخَنَّاسِ ٱلَّذِي يُوَسۡوِسُ فِي صُدُورِ ٱلنَّاسِ مِنَ ٱلۡجِنَّةِ وَٱلنَّاسِ
In the name of Allah, The Most Gracious, The Most Merciful.
Say, ˹O Prophet,˺ "I seek refuge in the Lord of humankind, the Master of humankind, the God of humankind, from the evil of the lurking whisperer—who whispers into the hearts of humankind—from among jinn and humankind."
سُبْحَانَ اللّٰهِ
Allah is free from imperfection.
اَلْحَمْدُ لِلّٰهِ
All praise is for Allah.
اَللّٰهُ أَكْبَرُ
Allah is the Greatest.
بِاسْمِكَ رَبِّيْ وَضَعْتُ جَنْبِيْ ، وَبِكَ أَرْفَعُهُ ، إِنْ أَمْسَكْتَ نَفْسِيْ فَارْحَمْهَا ، وَإِنْ أَرْسَلْتَهَا فَاحْفَظْهَا بِمَا تَحْفَظُ بِهِ عِبَادَكَ الصَّالِحِيْنَ
In Your name my Lord, I lie down and in Your name I rise, so if You should take my soul then have mercy upon it, and if You should return my soul then protect it in the manner You do so with Your righteous servants.
اللَّهُمَّ قِنِي عَذَابَكَ يَوْمَ تَبْعَثُ عِبَادَكَ
O Allah, protect me from Your punishment on the day Your servants are resurrected.
اَلْحَمْدُ للهِ الَّذِي أَطْعَمَنَا وَسَقَانَا، وَكَفَانَا، وَآوَانَا، فَكَمْ مِمَّنْ لا كَافِيَ لَه ُُ وَلا مُؤْوِي
All praise is for Allah, Who fed us and gave us drink, and Who is sufficient for us and has sheltered us. For how many have none to suffice them or shelter them?
اللَّهُمَّ عَالِمَ الْغَيْبِ وَالشَّهَادَةِ , فَاطِرَ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ , رَبَّ كُلِ شَيْءٍ وَمَلِيكَه، أَشْهَدُ أَنْ لَا إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ، أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ شَرِّ نَفْسِي وَمِنْ شَرِّ الشَّيْطَانِ وَشِرْكِهِ، وَأَنْ أَقْتَرِفَ عَلَىٰ نَفْسِي سُوءًا أَوْ أَجُرَّهُ إِلَىٰ مُسْلِمٍ.
O Allah, Knower of the unseen and the seen,
Creator of the heavens and the Earth,
Lord and Sovereign of all things.
I bear witness that none has the right to be worshipped except You.
I take refuge in You from the evil of my soul and from the evil and shirk of the devil, and from committing wrong against my soul or bringing such upon another Muslim.
اَللّٰهُمَّ رَبَّ السَّمٰوَاتِ وَرَبَّ الأَرْضِ وَرَبَّ الْعَرْشِ الْعَظِيْمِ ، رَبَّنَا وَرَبَّ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ ، فَالِقَ الْحَبِّ وَالنَّوَىٰ ، وَمُنْزِلَ التَّوْرَاةِ وَالْإِنْجِيْلِ وَالْفُرْقَانِ ، أَعُوْذُ بِكَ مِنْ شَرِّ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ أَنْتَ آخِذٌ بِنَاصِيَتِهِ ، اَللّٰهُمَّ أَنْتَ الْأَوَّلُ فَلَيْسَ قَبْلَكَ شَيْءٌ ، وَأَنْتَ الْآخِرُ فَلَيْسَ بَعْدَكَ شَيْءٌ ، وَأَنْتَ الظَّاهِرُ فَلَيْسَ فَوْقَكَ شَيْءٌ ، وَأَنْتَ الْبَاطِنُ فَلَيْسَ دُوْنَكَ شَيْءٌ ، اِقْضِ عَنَّا الدَّيْنَ وَأَغْنِنَا مِنَ الْفَقْرِ.
<!--td {border: 1px solid #cccccc;}br {mso-data-placement:same-cell;}-->O Allah! Lord of the seven heavens and Lord of the Magnificent Throne.Our Lord and the Lord of everything. Splitter of the grain and the date pit, Revealer of the Torah and the Gospel and the Furqan (the Qur'an), I seek refuge in You from the evil of everything that You shall seize by the forelock.O Allah You are the First and nothing has come before you, and You are the Last and nothing may come after You. You are the Most High, nothing is above You and You are the Most Near, and nothing is nearer than You. Remove our debts from us and enrich us against poverty
اَللّٰهُمَّ إِنِّيْ أَعُوْذُ بِوَجْهِكَ الْكَرِيْمِ ، وَكَلِمَاتِكَ التَّامَّةِ مِنْ شَرِّ مَا أَنْتَ آخِذٌ بِنَاصِيَتِهِ ، اَللّٰهُمَّ أَنْتَ تَكْشِفُ الْمَغْرَمَ وَالْمَأْثَمَ ، اَللّٰهُمَّ لَا يُهْزَمُ جُنْدُكَ ، وَلَا يُخْلَفُ وَعْدُكَ ، وَلَا يَنْفَعُ ذَا الْجَدِّ مِنْكَ الْجَدُّ ، سُبْحَانَكَ وَبِحَمْدِكَ.
O Allah, I seek protection by Your Noble Countenance and by Your perfect words from the evil of all that You hold by the forehead. O Allah, it is You who removes debt and sin. O Allah, Your army is never defeated and Your promise is never broken. The wealth of the wealthy does not avail them against You. You are free from imperfection, and to You belongs all praise.
اَللّٰهُمَّ إِنَّكَ خَلَقْتَ نَفْسِيْ وَأَنْتَ تَوَفَّاهَا ، لَكَ مَمَاتُهَا وَمَحْيَاهَا ، إِنْ أَحْيَيْتَهَا فَاحْفَظْهَا ، وَإِنْ أَمَتَّهَا فَاغْفِرْ لَهَا ، اَللّٰهُمَّ إِنِّيْ أَسْأَلُكَ الْعَافِيَة
O Allah, verily You have created my soul and You shall take its life. To You Alone belongs its life and death. If You keep my soul alive then protect it, and if You take it away, then forgive it. O Allah, I ask You to grant me well-being.
بِسْمِ اللّٰهِ وَضَعْتُ جَنْبِيْ ، اَللّٰهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لِيْ ذَنْبِيْ ، وَأَخْسِئْ شَيْطَانِيْ ، وَفُكَّ رِهَانِيْ ، وَاجْعَلْنِيْ فِي النَّدِيِّ الْأَعْلَىٰ
In the Name of Allah, I lie down. O Allah, forgive my sins, ward off from me my shaytān, free me from my obligations (to others) and enter me into the loftiest assembly (of angels).
اَلْحَمْدُ لِلّٰهِ الَّذِيْ كَفَانِيْ وَآوَانِيْ ، اَلْحَمْدُ لِلّٰهِ الَّذِيْ أَطْعَمَنِيْ وَسَقَانِيْ ، اَلْحَمْدُ لِلّٰهِ الَّذِيْ مَنَّ عَلَيَّ فَأَفْضَلَ ، اَللّٰهُمَّ إِنِّيْ أَسْأَلُكَ بِعِزَّتِكَ أَنْ تُنَجِّيَنِيْ مِنَ النَّارِ.
All praise is for Allah Who has sufficed me and given me refuge. All praise is for Allah Who has fed me and given me drink. All praise is for Allah Who has been gracious to me and showered favours on me. O Allah, I ask You by Your Glory, save me from the Hell-Fire. (Ḥākim)
اَللّٰهُمَّ بِاسْمِكَ أَمُوْتُ وَأَحْيَا
O Allah, solely in Your Name I die and I live.
لَا إِلٰهَ إِلَّا اللّٰهُ وَحْدَهُ لَا شَرِيْكَ لَهُ ، لَهُ الْمُلْكُ وَلَهُ الْحَمْدُ ، وَهُوَ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيْرٌ ، وَلَا حَوْلَ وَلَا قُوَّةَ إِلَّا بِاللّٰهِ ، سُبْحَانَ اللّٰهِ وَالْحَمْدُ لِلّٰهِ وَلَا إِلٰهَ إِلَّا اللّٰهُ وَاللّٰهُ أَكْبَرُ
There is no god but Allah. He is Alone and He has no partner whatsoever. To Him Alone belong all sovereignty and all praise. He is over all things All-Powerful. There is no power (in averting evil) or strength (in attaining good) except through Allah. Allah is free from imperfection, and all praise is for Allah. There is no god but Allah and Allah is the Greatest.
اَللّٰهُمَّ أَسْلَمْتُ نَفْسِيْ إِلَيْكَ ، وَفَوَّضْتُ أَمْرِيْ إِلَيْكَ ، وَوَجَّهْتُ وَجْهِيْ إِلَيْكَ ، وَأَلْجَاْتُ ظَهْرِيْ إِلَيْكَ ، رَغْبَةً وَرَهْبَةً إِلَيْكَ ، لَا مَلْجَأَ وَلَا مَنْجَا مِنْكَ إِلَّا إِلَيْكَ ، آمَنْتُ بِكِتَابِكَ الَّذِيْ أَنْزَلْتَ وَبِنَبِيِّكَ الَّذِيْ أَرْسَلْتَ
O Allah, I submit my soul unto You, and I entrust my affair unto You, and I turn my face towards You, and I totally rely on You, in hope and fear of You. Verily there is no refuge or safe haven from You except with You. I believe in Your Book which You have revealed and in Your Prophet whom You have sent.
